Perfecting Portrait

Whew! It was a long shoot but a successful one we think. We tried to take some portraits today and had the traditional 3-point lighting set up. But we got creative and placed the white backdrop on the ground and set up the lights on top of the subject. We had a tough time getting the right lighting and the perfect backlighting for hair. But after a few shots, we were able to get the perfect picture. We hope you like these as well. Some close-up shots were shot pretty much at ground level. It is very important that the subject is relaxed and comfortable. We really loved how the backlighting made the pictures look like they were from a pop music video. We will probably try the same effect in a video soon. Till then Keep Clicking!!

Good hair light is key!

Patience is key

The pictures could probably use some photoshop effects by softening the face but I don't have adobe yet.
